Ukrainian drones struck the TES-Terminal-1 oil facility in Kerch, occupied Crimea overnight on June 21, 2026

Kerch, Occupied Crimea — June 21, 2026
Dramatic footage has emerged showing the exact moment Ukrainian drones struck a key Russian oil terminal in the city of Kerch, occupied Crimea — the latest blow in Ukraine's escalating campaign to cut off fuel supplies to Russian occupation forces on the peninsula.
The military confirmed strikes overnight into June 21 on the "TES-Terminal-1" oil facility in Kerch, a key site for the transshipment and storage of fuels used by the Russian occupation forces. A fire was recorded on the premises.
The oil terminal "TES-Terminal-1" was hit in Kerch, where a powerful fire broke out as a result of the hit. This terminal is one of the key facilities for transshipment and storage of fuel and lubricants in Crimea and was directly used to meet the needs of the occupation group of troops.
The SBU confirmed its involvement in these operations, noting that specialists from its "Alpha" Special Operations Center collaborated with other military branches to hit the targets. The SBU stated that the strikes hit the tank farm and oil depot territory at Port Kavkaz, and containers with petroleum products at the "TES-Terminal-1" in Kerch.
Ukraine's army struck energy and military targets on both sides of the Crimean Bridge. "This night, our long-range sanctions were applied to the occupiers' military logistics, oil industry, and air defense," Zelensky said. "Targets on both sides of the Crimean Bridge were hit: maritime logistics for oil transportation in the Krasnodar region and an oil depot in temporarily occupied Kerch."
A large fire was reported at the Kavkaz port on the Chushka Spit in Russia's Krasnodar Krai region.
At least four people have been killed in Ukrainian drone attacks on Crimea that hit an oil depot and fuel facilities Russia uses to supply its forces, Russian-installed authorities say. Crimea's Moscow-installed leader Sergey Aksyonov said at least 28 people were wounded in the attacks overnight into Sunday.
Local authorities in Russia's Krasnodar region said a Ukrainian drone attack on an oil transport facility killed one person on a passenger ferry and set an oil terminal ablaze.
Ukraine has recently intensified drone attacks on Crimea, where Russia's Black Sea Fleet is headquartered, targeting the peninsula's supply routes and triggering a fuel crisis as the summer holiday season starts. Moscow-appointed Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev posted that fuel deliveries were being delayed and a petrol allocation to private motorists scheduled for Sunday was cancelled. Fuel was available only for official services.
Crimea's tourism sector predicted that millions of tourists this summer will stay away from the peninsula, a popular destination for Russian travellers.
In recent months, Crimea has become the primary focus of Ukraine's effective "middle strike" campaign — using mid-range drones to hit Russian targets at operational depth behind the front. Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said Ukraine's drone campaign is turning the peninsula "into an island," as Kyiv attempts to isolate Crimea from the rest of Russia.
DeSanta News will continue to follow Ukraine's strike campaign across occupied Crimea.
